HAPPY NEW YEAR

HAPPY NEW YEAR

A “Home Alone” New Year: Warmth, Sweets, and Family Vibes at BBD

There is a special kind of magic when the classroom doors close, and the doors to a mentor’s home open.

This New Year, the BBD family experienced something truly heartwarming. Moving away from the formal atmosphere of lecture halls, one of our beloved professors opened their home to us for a festive celebration. It wasn’t just a party; it was a gathering of friends that felt like a true “home away from home.”

Sweet Treats and Shared Stories

The evening was filled with the aroma of cinnamon, cocoa, and an endless array of sweets. From traditional festive treats to local favorites, the table was a reflection of our department’s diversity. As we enjoyed the desserts, the conversation flowed naturally—not about grades or business models, but about our dreams, our families back home, and the things that make us laugh.

The Ultimate Classic

Home Alone 2 The highlight of the night was a collective dive into nostalgia. We gathered around the screen, dimmed the lights, and watched the timeless classic: Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Even though most of us have seen Kevin McCallister’s adventures a dozen times, watching it together made it feel brand new. The room was filled with laughter during the iconic traps and a comfortable silence during the movie’s touching moments about friendship and kindness..

Why These Moments Matter

At BBD, we believe that the best business connections are built on a foundation of genuine human relationships. Seeing our professor not just as an educator, but as a host and a friend, reminded us that leadership is rooted in hospitality and care.
We left that night with full stomachs and even fuller hearts, ready to take on the new year with a renewed sense of belonging.
Thank you for welcoming us into your home and making us feel like family!
